Consent and Release Form

This document confirms your voluntary consent for the Cantonese Language Teacher Association (CantoLTA) to use and publish only those specific materials you formally submit or explicitly designate for its use, as described below.

1. Grant of Rights

I, the undersigned member of CantoLTA, hereby grant CantoLTA and its representatives the non-exclusive, worldwide right and permission to use, reproduce, and publish only the specific, self-owned or created educational, informational, or promotional materials that I formally submit to or explicitly designate for CantoLTA's use. The Materials covered by this consent are limited to the content I explicitly provide or point to from the following sources:

• Website(s) and Blogs

• YouTube Channel(s) and other video hosting platforms

• Social Media Accounts

• Print and Digital Educational Resources (e.g., worksheets, lesson plans, presentations)

  
  

This grant of rights allows CantoLTA to share and promote these Materials through its official channels, including its website, newsletters, social media, and presentations, for the purpose of advancing the goals of the association and supporting Cantonese language education.

2. Acknowledgment of Ownership and Responsibility

I affirm that I am the sole owner or have the necessary rights and permissions to all Materials I submit or identify for publication by CantoLTA.

I understand and agree that CantoLTA is not responsible for any legal, financial, or other matters that may arise from or be associated with the publication, content, or use of the Materials. This includes, but is not limited to, matters concerning:

• Copyright Infringement: Any claims that the Materials infringe on the intellectual property rights of a third party.

• Defamation, Privacy, or Publicity: Any claims related to the content within the Materials.

• Accuracy and Completeness: The factual accuracy or completeness of the information provided in the Materials.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless CantoLTA and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including legal fees and costs) arising out of or related to the Materials and their content.

3. Duration and Revocation

This consent and release becomes effective immediately upon signing. I understand that I may revoke this consent for any future publication or use of my Materials by providing CantoLTA with written notice. However, any Materials already published or in the process of being published at the time of written notice may remain in use.
