In addition, the Cantonese Alliance hosts a vibrant Discord server where Cantonese enthusiasts can connect, share resources, and practice speaking in lively, free Cantonese chat rooms. Here's the invite: https://discord.gg/wKeYzmThQE
The Cantonese Alliance has also created subtitled videos showcasing life and businesses in LA and SF Chinatowns. They’re free to use in your teaching,
bringing authentic community stories into the classroom!
Learning Cantonese Through Stories
Dr. Sik Lee Dennig has adapted engaging stories from Hambaanglaang (HBL) into complete learning units, originally created for the Sunday Cantonese Chat Room held on the Cantonese Alliance Discord server. She is currently providing free access to these units.
A special thank you to Leo Cheung for providing the audio recordings that bring these stories to life.

Hosted by our member 劉家宏 (William), an experienced and dedicated Cantonese educator, alongside his colleague, this podcast takes listeners on a fascinating journey through Cantonese culture and language education
across Taiwan and Southeast Asia.

Guided by her belief in the power of comprehensible input, our member Yan Lee, together with her colleague, has developed a rich library of videos that make learning accessible and enjoyable for learners of all levels.

We’re excited to share a newly launched website by our member Yan, 可理解廣東話 [Comprehensible Cantonese]. Thoughtfully designed and easy to navigate, the site reflects her ongoing work in making Cantonese learning accessible through the principles of comprehensible input.
The website brings together a range of resources and information that learners and educators may find useful, including explanations of her teaching approach, readers presented in characters with Jyutping and English translation, and links to video content. We invite you to explore the site and see how it adds to the growing collection of Cantonese teaching and learning resources within our community.

Joining our wonderful community of creators, Add Oil Cantonese provides continually updated freebies and printables that make Cantonese learning fun and accessible for both kids and adults. These include posters, vocabulary games, and worksheets, with downloadable materials available on their website.
