About the Event
Join Eveline Yu, an educator with extensive experience guiding young children through music and interactive learning, for a 60-minute workshop on reducing speaking anxiety and building foundational oral fluency in early childhood Cantonese learners.
Designed specifically for teachers, tutors, and parents navigating the unique needs of children ages 4 and under—across both 1-on-1 and group settings—this session delivers music- and play-based, low-pressure routines to get toddlers and preschoolers vocalizing naturally. Eveline will share field-tested techniques to foster joyful language acquisition, leverage rhythm and song, and build early speaking confidence from day one.
What You Will Learn:
Music-Based Warm-Ups: Low-stakes, song- and rhythm-driven routines to lower hesitation and encourage immediate vocalization.
Maximizing Toddler Engagement: Interactive visual and auditory structures that keep young learners active and practicing simultaneously.
Age-Appropriate Scaffolding: Practical adjustments to break down basic Cantonese vocabulary and simple phrases for developing minds.
